Security Mike Does His Best Fasoli Impression, Smashes Through A Fence At The Internet Invitational
The Internet Invitational Man .... You really never know what you are going to get, except apparently Barstool employees just smashing through fences. I wrote about it yesterday, but this tournament is one of a kind because it's massively insanely competitive golf but it's not being played by pro's, rather Youtube stars, content creators, athletes, and comedians who aren't shying away from breaking balls, or embracing a rules controversy, all with Dave Portnoy feet away adding more twists and money prizes at the drop of a dime. It's literally a dream event for content, and it almost makes you wonder why no one thought of it before, because people were craving for the perfect mix like this.
Anyway, when you have a Barstool event you will get everything that comes with it, and that not only includes our personalities in front of the camera, but all the lunatics we got behind them, as well as behind the scenes or in the case above- security. Our content guys are insane (I'm aware I'm probably in the front of that team picture of wackos) but I do think some of our behind the scenes guys are all time characters too. None bigger than Fasoli, who's gaff at last year's event took the internet by storm.
And this year Security Mike (who drives on the road Dave by the way) absolutely obliterates a fence. I have never met the people at Big Cedar, and everything I hear is nothing but the nicest stuff, but you have to think they have readjusted their budgets because of us at this point. I can see them in accounting now ... "Okay we're going to have a private event come in, will get x in revenue, great exposure, love the people win win for everyone ... but we do need to factor in _____ in repairs after they leave for fences." A win some, lose some type thing. Just an all timer from Mike, who if you have spent any time with him driving - you know he prides himself on how well he maneuvers, and how long he's been doing it etc. Loves to tell you the time he cuts off in traffic, lights avoided etc ... well it's a good thing they don't have wood fences on The Staten Island Expressway Mikey.
