Draymond Green Earned His First Ejection Of The Season By Throwing Khaman Maluach To The Ground And Then Immediately Getting Into It With Dillon Brooks

With the return of NBA basketball, it also meant that it was the return of Draymond Green doing fucked up shit on the basketball court. Entering Year 15, this is something you can set your watch to every NBA season. Without fail, Draymond Green will do Draymond Green things and get ejected. It's what he does. It's who he is. It's part of being in the Draymond Green business. You have to just accept that he's going to lose his temper and do something that hurts the team

I mean, tell me you haven't seen that movie before? That was textbook Draymond. You can see the play starts by Draymond flopping his ass off. Disgraceful move for such a respected defender. Once he doesn't get the call, he then bearhugs Maluach while making zero attempt at the ball. A very dangerous play that is completely avoidable. The thing is, Draymond goes one step further and sort of tosses his to the ground, while then immediately pretending he did nothing. That's the Draymond special. Where he gives you juuuuuuuust enough plausible deniability, even though WE ALL KNOW what he's doing.

You would think that with how good the vibes are with the Warriors right now that Draymond could avoid situations like this, but it's almost like he can't help himself. This is just how he plays. As long as he's active, stuff like this is on the table. You knew once he did all that there was no way Dillon Brooks was going to let it slide, and then once Dillon Brooks gets involved now we have a whole thing. All because why? Draymond tried to flop his way into a call? Come on man, you're killing Steph Curry. How many times does Steph have to pick up the pieces after something like this? He can only do so much.

If you happened to have the first Draymond ejection coming before Thanksgiving, congratulations! Didn't even reach double-digit games into the Warriors' schedule. Classic. Remember all that stuff about how Draymond was a changed man and he wouldn't do stuff like this anymore? What a time to be alive. Turns out that was a crock of shit. Who could have seen that coming?

Everyone. Everyone saw that coming.

Next up comes Draymond's podcast episode where I'm sure he'll try and spinzone this whole thing. That's usually how these things go. God forbid Adam Silver does anything about it. We know how that goes when it comes to Draymond and forcing the consequences of his actions. The NBA isn't exactly his biggest fan and he keeps forcing their hand by doing dumb shit like this. Just chill out. It cannot be that hard.
