'Memphis Hasn't Seen A White Dude Get Up Like I Do' - Luke Almodovar Is The Most Entertaining Player In College Hoops, Dunked All Over Iowa State Last Night
We can talk about Memphis getting the win over Iowa State, but not until we talk about Luke Almodovar. We actually talked about him before, but that was at SEMO when he did this:
Then last night he's out there beating the buzzer on dunks against Iowa State. Let me be very clear, this guy is must watch TV. Why? Look at his quotes!

My man out here like DJ Qualls in Road Trip after he has sex. Memphis has never seen a white dude get up like I do might be my favorite thing I've ever read. That's the sort of confidence that Memphis needs. It's a year they need to win games and make a Tournament. They got the win last night over Iowa State and it was more than just dunks by Almodovar. But he's the star of the show. That dunk at the end of the first half sort of kept momentum for Memphis before Jayden Reid brought them home
All I know is Luke Almodovar is must watch TV. We haven't seen a white dude get up like that in the college level since Dunk City. That's where he should have been. Him, Brett Comer, Sherwood Brown and Chase Fieler. What a star for him at Memphis though. This is the sort of guy we needed to break out in night 1 of college hoops. A guy who is at a team like Memphis, desperate for a win and he's yamming all over everyone. Talk your shit, back it up.
