Cracking Jokes About Notre Dame And Trying To Get Some Shots Up - No One Is More Locked In For College Hoops Than The Pope

Hell yeah, this is why we get a Big East Pope. We get a Big East Pope so the college hoops season opens up in Rome with Notre Dame vs Villanova tomorrow. Not only that but we gotta make the Chicago Pope pick a side since he went to Nova. He made that clear. He's a Big East guy through and through. It only makes sense. I know that Notre Dame is synonymous with the Catholic church, but the Big East is built on it. The Pope has to cheer for Villanova, probably should donate to the NIL fund too if we're being honest. Use that to your advantage. 

I just can't get over how perfect this dumb sport is. All the bitching that we can do about the transfer portal or conference realignment or lawsuits, we got the Pope ready to get shots up. He better be at the game tomorrow. No doubt in my mind he cares if Nova wins or not. He can play it cool, play it safe. He wants a Nova win. 

This has to be good for the Big East. That conference was all the Catholic schools and UConn. That conference should have the Pope there. If Nova looks good, I fully expect Rick Pitino to be booking a trip to Rome too. You can't take any chances if you're in the Big East and Villanova has the big man on his side. You know he's a bucket too. You don't grow up in Chicago and go to Nova unless you can get some shots up. Ceremonial free throw tomorrow feels right.
