Dan Orlovsky Admits He Just Learned What 'Percent' Means

I like Dan Orlovsky a lot. He's good at his job and seems like an awesome guy who's a good Christian husband and father.

But this is shocking stuff.

I don't understand how one could go through any appreciable amount of adult life without understanding how percentages work. What has been going through Dan's mind when he hears there's a 40 percent chance of rain? He was also an NFL quarterback and now talks about football for a living, a game which features percentages a pretty stunning amount of the time if you are unfamiliar with the concept.

I'm stunned but also incredibly curious at what Orlovsky must have been thinking for the past four decades every time someone brought up one of those fancy percentages.

I do give Dan credit for admitting this on television, though. I think he was under the impression at least one or two of the other fellas on the show might have been in the dark, too, but once he realized he was on an island, it was too late. And that's a scary place to be when you've put this out on a live show being broadcast to everyone.

It's never too late to learn, guys. We should be applauding anyone who is in constant pursuit of knowledge.
