The Milwaukee Brewers Are On A Fucking Warpath This Post Season, And Now Dodgers and Rays Fans Think They're Cheating

Source-  Apparently, getting swept out of the National League Championship Series wasn’t humiliating enough for the Dodgers. Now, some of their fans are trying to turn a good old-fashioned baseball beatdown into baseball’s next great cheating scandal.

The evidence? A few long at-bats, a couple of unexpected home runs and a whole lot of sour grapes.

After the Milwaukee Brewers completed their four-game sweep of the two-time defending World Series champions with a 6-4 victory Thursday night at Dodger Stadium, conspiracy theories began circulating on social media accusing Milwaukee of knowing which pitches were coming.

Never mind that nobody has produced a shred of evidence of illegal sign-stealing.

The amateur detectives pointed to Jake Bauers’ grueling 12-pitch walk against Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 2, his lengthy battle against Blake Snell in Game 3 and another extended confrontation with Tyler Glasnow in Game 4.

We're really doing this huh?

On the eve of Game 3 of the World Series, after coming back in dominating fashion in Game 2, and absolutely demoralizing the fuck out of Tampa Bay, people really want to get on their soap boxes and accuse little old Milwaukee of nefarious behavior?

Giphy Images.

That's the big story coming out of the MLB postseason. Not that the Brewers just swept the two-time defending World Series champion Dodgers right out of the NLCS.

Or that they've now taken the first two games of the World Series against Tampa Bay. Nope. The real story, according to some very upset Dodgers fans, is that Milwaukee must be cheating.

And their evidence?

Well, some of their hitters had really long at-bats. A couple of guys hit home runs they weren't expected to hit. And apparently some anonymous MLB players were texting a Dodgers radio host saying they thought Milwaukee knew what pitches were coming.

Case closed. Somebody call the FBI.

Are you fucking kidding me? Can we talk about the fact that the Milwaukee Brewers were the best, most consistent team in Major League Baseball for pretty much the entire season?

They won 103 games. More than anybody else in baseball. They finished with the best run differential in the league at +214. They scored 832 runs, second-most in baseball, and their pitching staff finished with a 3.51 ERA, also second-best.

Oh, and here's my favorite stat- they did all of that while hitting the SECOND-FEWEST home runs in the entire league. Which tells you everything you need to know about this team.

They don't rely on one or two superstars to carry them. They manufacture runs. They work counts. They get on base. They steal bases. They play defense. They have outstanding pitching. And they do all the little things that baseball purists have spent the last 20 years complaining teams don't do anymore. They're quite literally the definition of a complete baseball team.

But now that they're doing exactly what they've done all season, only on the biggest stage, suddenly something suspicious must be going on?

Give me a fucking break.

Garrett Mitchell, who hit two home runs against left-handed pitching in the NLCS after hitting just one against lefties in 107 regular-season at-bats, is now a prime suspect according to detectives in LA.

Pretty crazy, almost like baseball is an unpredictable sport where guys occasionally rise to the occasion and do things they haven't done before. And even IF the Brewers figured out that a Dodgers pitcher was tipping his pitches, since when the fuck is that cheating? That's called baseball folks. Players and coaches have been studying pitchers' grips, deliveries, glove positioning and tendencies since the game was invented. Recognizing a tell is not remotely the same thing as illegally stealing and electronically relaying signs.

SAD SAD STUFF GUYS.

The funniest part about all of this is that the Brewers didn't just wake up one morning in October and magically become great. They won 93 games in 2024, 97 games in 2025, and then they won 103 this year.

There's a pretty obvious pattern developing here, and it doesn't involve a trash can.

They've now gone 9-1 this postseason, swept a Dodgers team that won 100 games, and have come from behind repeatedly against the best teams in baseball.

Last night in Game 2 of the World Series, they fell behind Tampa Bay 4-0 in the first inning and still came back to win 5-4. That's not cheating, no that's a team that doesn't panic, or give away at-bats, and knows how to grind out and win baseball games.

Maybe instead of trying to figure out how the Brewers are cheating, people should be asking why it took them until October to realize how fucking good they are.

p.s.- if you really want to talk about "cheating", how about we discuss the Dodgers circumventing the salary cap with a bazillion dollars in deferred contracts and that whole ALLEGED cooked books thing.

p.p.s. - as a Chicago Cubs fan you gotta love how the Cubs bamboozled David Ross to leave a burgeoning tv career, to come and manage a team they then proceeded to trade away from out from under him, then gave him the boot, all to bring in Craig Counsel, who they grossly overpaid, only to watch the Brewers take off like a rocketship. Some people are saying Counsel was holding them back.
