Indiana-Michigan Was Possibly the Worst College Football Game Played This Century

Thank goodness that's over. What a brutal slog to have to sit through for three and a half hours.

If you thought Michigan's offense couldn't look any worse than it did under Bryce Underwood, throw a true freshman out there against Indiana's defense and we saw what that looks like. The Wolverines punted five times, turned the ball over three times and missed two field goals.

The bigger problem that made this game so unbearable was that Indiana's offense only performed marginally better. If it was a rule that one team had to score a touchdown on a drive starting on their own side of the field to be able to win the game, these teams might still be playing during the NFL game tomorrow morning.

Michigan did manage to scrounge together a second field goal as regulation expired to get to overtime, but the Hoosiers finally got the ball across the goal line while Carr missed a receiver low on the Wolverines' final play to end the game.

At least the ending was interesting.
