The Price Of A Meme - Aaron Glenn Was Fined 250K By The NFL For Conduct To The Referees

To sum it up - worth it. No doubt about it.

It's low hanging fruit to dunk on The New York Jets, and that's not just a this year thing- that goes on for decades. Between the draft blunders,

The butt fumble

to a fan dying via a flying lawnmower at a halftime show.

And this season is no short of laughers starting with Aaron Glenn

but credit is due where credit is due, especially in the internet age and a clip is a clip, and a meme is a meme and to Glenn's credit - that one is an all timer. The 250k is also a big boy fine, especially when Glenn isn't really a lock to make it past this season. I don't think Aaron can try to justify that this 250k is actually worth it via the internet dollars, but he should be able to. There should be a way that Glenn gets a kick of the profits every time this GIF is used, shit I should have to pay him for even writing this blog about him. I don't think he will be in the black (or is it green) right away, but you have to imagine that given how perfect this meme really is, he'll eventually turn a profit. Memes are timeless, and this one should be as well. Figure out a way to own the GIF Aaaron and watch the money pile up.
