Disgusting: Bill Self Thought Kansas Fans Chanting 'Fuck You, Flory' During Their Exhibition Game vs Louisville Last Night Was Too Mean

We're in this exhibition season of college basketball where we get big time games because they refuse to play each other in the regular season. Call me crazy, but Louisville going to Kansas in a month hits way more than an exhibition. But, whatever, it's still college hoops on my TV. We also live in this world where guys transfer for seemingly no reason (money) from one big school to another. 

Flory Bidunga decided to transfer this offseason from Kansas to Louisville. That's why you see this reaction, even in an exhibition. However, Bill Self and Kansas apparently thought this was too mean? 

Is the chant dumb? Sure. But they are college kids pissed off that a dude transferred from their team to another power school. This isn't an up-transfer or something like that. We're talking about Kansas basketball. A blue blood. You don't typically lose a starter to the transfer portal. You can say you like the kid and he played for you, but fans are gonna act like they want. That's the price we pay for this era of college basketball. 

We deserve the right to be pissed off. We don't care if the kid played 2 years for us. It sucks when we are invested, we've been used to watching teams grow together and it's just a whole new team the next year. It's a chant that happens across sports all the time. I don't think we can say it's anything unusual or even creative. But whatever, let fans be fans. If we have to deal with players leaving, we're allowed to be pissed off.
