SAD: Gen Z Didn't Know The Name Of Iconic Supermodel Candice Swanepoel At The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show So Let's Educate Them ASAP (Also Happy 38th Birthday To The African Legend!)

Before we get into this unacceptable controversy & a gratuitous gallery below, let's take a moment to acknowledge the sheer unbridled GREATNESS of possible real life goddess, Candice Swanepoel. The iconic supermodel just turned 38 years old today, not that you could've guessed by watching her at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Sunday night.

In fact as it stands today, she remains the finest of angelic wines. Even after all these years, not a single step hath been lost out there on the runway. Impressive, most impressive. What are they putting in the water down there in South Africa bru? Bling bang indeed.

But amidst the ashes of that beautiful broadcast came a moment so unacceptable, so absolutely abhorrent, that it quite literally took my breath away. Spit my coffee out and wasn't even drinking any. Felt the entire power grid connecting to the electric factory fail. You get the idea.

Because if Gen Z is gonna tune in but not respect LEGENDS of the game, well then I have no choice but to right that wrong ASAP. The kids are NOT alright.

Don't even care if that tweet was premeditated ragebait. Disrespect that like about Candice on any level will NOT be tolerated here at Barstool SPORTS. Not just because she's an OG Angel unicorn, but also because she literally helped build the foundation of our media empire.

Without her incredible assets being set to "Hells Bells" in the 2010s by our fearless leader Dave Portnoy, who knows if we even get that investment from Chernin. She was that impactful to our success. Easy to see why!

Shout out the #1 Barstool historian Mario for that A+ reminder about that 'Hells Bells' era of Milton. Still can't believe everyone was giving Dave such a hard time for missing a few stupid tweets from Chrissy Teigan while he was trying to run a company & pay for everyones salary via a slow motion montage of Candice set to that awesome AC/DC song. Pretty ungrateful of them imho.

But sadly I can't find that classic edit anymore… If any Stoolies out there can, I'll send them a VIVA windbreaker post haste. In the meantime, just imagine that song playing while watching these edits and you'll get the idea. Good times.
