Any Baseball Fans Already Complaining About World Series Ratings Aren't True Baseball Fans And Massive Losers
A tradition unlike anyother, baseball fans bitching and complaing about ratings of a series that hasn't happened yet. The biggest group of loses out there are the ones who are FURIOUS with whatever matchup they're about to watch, they're obsessed with "ratings" and how bad they're going to be. What do people care what the ratings are? Unless you work for the league and your job depends on these ratings, what's it to you? You should not give one single shit about what the ratings could potentially be. People acting like this Brewers vs Rays matchup won't be good for the league and that fans won't watch, what rock were you under all year? Both teams play a very exciting brand of baseball, why not be excited about this? Fans of both these teams don't give a damn what the ratings will be
In what world are people mad or upset about the two best teams facing off, two franchises who have never won a World Series. Isn't that what we want most of the time? Everyone bitches about the Dodgers and the Yankees and other big market teams, now you have two franchises fighting over their first and suddenly that's a bad thing? Like I said, they were by far the two best teams all season, it's not like one of them snuck in with 82 wins and got hot, these teams were wagons all season long. I'll never understand the folks who obsess over payroll and market size and say they won't watch because of that, it's a load of crap if you ask me. This is a dream matchup if you're an acutal baseball fan. If you just want clicks and replies on Twitter than you're stomping your feet and complaning about how bad the ratings are going to be. Grade A losers, all of em.
Heck, we may have MORE fans watching because it's not the usual suspects. Gotta think there's a legit chance more people tune in because they won't see Ohtani and the Dodgers. Fans are tired of the big guys who are on Sunday Night Baseball every week, it's not the usual suspects so we may get some folks who wouldn't usually watch. I also just can't understand why any true baseball fan would actually give a shit about ratings. No one sits there, watches a game and goes "Sheesh, that was a great game! Can't wait to see what the ratings are!", it's only fools on the internet who are trying to create some weird storyline. No one cares about ratings and how many people watch, if the series and teams are good, people will watch. I don't know why you wouldn't be excited about this matchup either, there are some damn good players all throughout the series. Poo-pooing a series that has the likes of Jacob Misiorowski, Jackson Chourio, Bryce Turang, William Contreras, Junior Caminero, Drew Rasmussen, Yandy Diaz, and Bryan Baker is just weird. Really good talent all around.

It's a fake fan problem to worry about ratings and what they'll be. True baseball fans will watch and enjoy the series, whether it goes four games or seven. The people already angling to not enjoy the series are just weird to me, if you don't want to watch then don't. Plenty of other options, but how can you be a baseball fan and not be excited about this matchup? Casual fans won't get excited for it and that's a shame, but just because they are a weird fixation on imaginary ratings doesn't mean this series won't be pure baseball porn. Everyone bitched and complained for years about the Dodgers ruining baseball and now that they're out and won't three-peat, somehow that's bad for the league? Make it make sense guys, make it make sense.
This series is going to be incredible from a pure baseball perspective, not sure how you don't sit through a full season watching your team and then get turned off when we get a matchup of #1 seeds. Buckle up baseball fans, we're going to get a good one here. And if you're only worried about ratings and how many people watch, go back and enjoy your spreadsheets and leave the series alone.
