The Jalen Hurts Situation Was So Bad That Doctors Told Him Not To Sleep For 36 Hours Before Starting Against The Jacksonville Jaguars

So the Jalen Hurts situation continues to get worse and worse. Fortunately it sounds like he is expected to make a full recovery once he's finished up with his blood thinner treatments. But what started out as a superficial blood clot in his calf has now made its way to his lungs, and he is now officially ruled out for the rest of the season.

Now I don't know how blood clots work. I don't know how they worsen. But the idea that Jalen Hurts was diagnosed with the blood clot in London, was then told by doctors NOT TO SLEEP BECAUSE HE WAS AT RISK, and was in the hospital until 4am the morning of the London game is absolutely insane considering the fact that he played in that game.

Jalen Hurts was awake for 36 straight hours before starting a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. You think Jalen Hurts cares about this shit or what? This is a man who only cares about winning, and he doesn't care what it takes to get the job done. Meanwhile, he has an absolute dunce of a coach who then pissed away that win in London by not making sure that Jake Elliott sent that final kickoff out of the end zone. Our quarterback could have died and it all would have been for nothing thanks to Nick Sirianni.

Now again, the good news here is that everybody seems to believe that Jalen Hurts will make a full recovery. 3 months of blood thinners and staying away from contact activities should do the trick. But the bad news is that the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff and medical staff are clearly the dumbest dickheads on the planet. The fact that he played in this game in general is beyond baffling, and should cost someone their job. The fact that Jalen Hurts had the Eagles in a position to win the game with just 8 seconds left to go, and then the Eagles still lost proves that the coaching staff has no idea what they are doing. The only person in this situation who has proven themselves to be worth building around is Jalen Hurts. He is a winner and he is a warrior. Pretty much everyone else in the building can go, and the Eagles will be perfectly fine.
