Ann Michael Maye Retains Her Crown as Queen of the North, Drawing Massive Crowds to Her Live Appearance at a Grocery Store

Josh Allen has his Hailee Steinfeld. Justin Herbert has his Madison Beer (and his 0-5 record). But there is but one true NFL Queen, and she reigns from a thrown in New England.

Just on the odd chance that you thought Ann Michael Maye's crown lost some of its luster during that 1-2 start when her King was taking the NFL lead in turnovers, you'd better think again. Because a short time ago, she made a scheduled appearance at a North Shore supermarket on behalf of a worthy cause:

And this is who showed up:

Bear in mind, this wasn't the line for Space Mountain. This wasn't San Diego ComicCon. No K-Pop group was waiting at the end of this thing to sign autographs. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce weren't getting married inside this store. No one was giving away free stuff. Nor was this some natural disaster where emergency relief supplies were being distributed.

The attraction here was Ann Michael Maye herself. The chance to be in the same store as the woman who provides love, support, and baked treats to our Franchise Quarterback. To have an audience with Her Majesty. To be in her Royal presence. Breathe the same rarefied air as her. To bend the knee. Or bow. Or curtsy. Whatever would be in keeping with the traditional protocols.

According to @BabzOnTheMic, Her Majesty stayed an extra 30 minutes; that's 50% more time than was allotted for on her busy schedule. And when she finally did depart, the crowd was still 150 deep.

That is how revered she is in this area. That's the level of respect she enjoys. Her moral authority is such that her subjects will wait outside in the rain on a chilly Friday afternoon, just to pay homage to our Sovereign Ruler. It's a show of love that the previous First Lady of the Patriots Dynasty could never inspire in the populace, even though she is an internationally renowned icon with One-Name levels of fame.

So best wishes to all the other NFL players and their WAGs. We've got the Queen of the North. She and her King are perfect for us. Long may they reign.
