RIP: The Entire ‘Breaking Bad’ Cast Have Been Posting Touching Tributes To RJ Mitte (Walt Jr) Who Tragically Passed Away Earlier This Week

Generally this place is a spot for jokes & positive vibes ONLY. I do understand that whole heartedly, my smut peddling resume doesn’t lie there.

But I thought these tributes to RJ from the entire ‘Breaking Bad’ cast were worth a glance heading into the weekend. Maybe they’ll even inspire you to call that friend or family member you’ve been meaning to catch up with, but have kept putting off for no good reason. Heavy stuff to read through no doubt, but also some beautiful accolades of his humanity as well. Perspective for the soul. Albeit in a very sad & tragic ending. RIP Walt Jr.

Odenkirk, who played Saul Goodman in the AMC series, said Mitte was a “good person who shared his personal story and his time to help out others.” “Whenever I saw him, he was meeting the world with positivity and a strong desire to connect,” Odenkirk said in a statement to People. “This is simply, deeply sad.”

“Dear one,

No words can express what your friendship has meant to me. I will remember the laughter, the rapture of pure joy in the loving moments we have shared. I will remember the magnitude of your kindness, your philanthropy, your being in service to others before yourself.

You will forever live in my heart, representing how pure love can change the world!

Rest in peace.

Now you are free.

Probably feels like losing a real life family member for them too. They spent so much time together filming those 5 seasons together. Absolutely sucks to see the child actor be the 1st to go. Unfortunately a tale as old as time. And once again, another scumbag business manager gets away with it too. As Handsome Hank would say, Fucking a man.

“If me speaking out today might save someone else from going through the same situation, because a mother should never have to find their child this way," she said. “If I can say one person is helped, I think that’s what RJ would expect.” “We all go through some heartbreak in our life and, and we all deal with it differently. If I had known anything and could have done anything different, I truly would have. I would have given my life for his life.” via NBC News

Nothing but respect to RJ, not only for playing a pivotal role in one of the most entertaining shows of all-time, but also being a good dude trying his best to survive out there. It ain't easy to do alone. So don’t forget we’re all in this together folks. Now go pick up your phone and make that call. Hopefully you're not calling Walt Sr. though. That would suck.

“The greatest thing that Breaking Bad has given me is to be able to lend my voice to causes that make a meaningful impact… It's not the awards. It's not all these things that people assume come with this… It's literally being able to impact someone's life in a meaningful way that otherwise wouldn't have it.”
