Sam Darnold Has Been So Bad This Year That Richard Sherman Is Refusing To Hug Him And Now People Are Actually Debating If Drew Lock Should Start

I don't think Sam Darnold is a bad quarterback. I think he's a bad quarterback when his line gets destroyed and then he has no rhythm. That's the Sam Darnold we saw last night. He panicked, made some god awful throws and looked, well, like shit. But again, so did his line. Not sure why you're going to force feed Tory Horton when you have JSN who started dominating the entire second half. I'd simply spam every ball to him, no matter the coverage, because that's all that matters. He's your best chance to make a play.

But I don't think Sam Darnold is a bad quarterback. I saw him win a Super Bowl a year ago. I think it's no running game, no Klint Kubiak and coming back from injury. He also took the loss on himself

Probably a smart thing to do. The Seahawks didn't have to doink a short field goal, fumble on an end around while driving and have about 12 yards of total offense in the first half. That said, Darnold threw the picks. It all comes down to quarterback play and they get graded harder than anyone. Or, in Richard Sherman's case, he won't even hug him

Might be the weirdest tweet I've seen in some time. I had to check it was real. I guess being the starting quarterback and winning a Super Bowl doesn't earn you a hug? I don't mind listening to Sherman from time to time when he's talking about the game and nothing else. I almost respect how corny this is and Sherman should just lean into it. Grade every quarterback on the hug scale.

Now, it's more than Sherman though. People are debating if Drew Lock should start

DREW LOCK! This guy!

I don't think it's fair to say he played the Cardinals defense vs at the Broncos. Sure, Lock has the ability to move around and looked better against the Cardinals, but you're not benching Sam Darnold for Drew Lock. Not right now. Not a few games after he won a Super Bowl.

Seahawks do gotta fix the offense though. The new coordinator is a mess. They can't run. They just need to get JSN the ball roughly 48 times a game.
