The Season Hasn't Started Yet And John Calipari Is Complaining About His Schedule While Claiming He Was On Crack (His Words)

John Calipari, WHO WAS ON CRACK, out here doing what John Calipari does. Play the hits during media day where he says things like he likes his team, they are athletic, he doesn't know if they are good and, of course, complaining about his schedule. This is what we can't have. We can't have coaches crying about big time games early in the year. We get too many cupcake games. We get too many games that don't matter. I want to see teams play each other in games that actually matter. These big time schools get plenty of buy games where they pay a team to come get their ass kicked and get a win for it. It does really nothing for a school like Arkansas or any big time school.

Virginia is good, but they aren't being on crack good. Not for the 2nd game of the season. Arkansas should be playing teams like this early. Just like every major school team should be playing teams like this. I mean is Ryan Odom admitting he was on crack for scheduling Arkansas? I get that Cal has a bunch of freshmen, but that's who he is.

This is just classic Cal though. He does the same thing for the last 18 years or whatever it's been at media day. Comes out, plays the hits, complains about the schedule. But, this is the first time I've heard the I'm on crack statement. Guess that's the difference when you go from beautiful, perfect Lexington to Fayeteville. Either way, don't bitch about playing good teams. We need more of it. College sports are getting dumber by the second at least give us good games to make us forget it.
