WATCH: Mark Zuckerberg Drinking A Beer Will Put Your Brain In A Pretzel

Disclaimer: I have no earthly idea what these dudes are talking about in this clip and quite frankly, I don't want to know because it scares me a little. You know when you're 12 and you come upon your parent talking to other parents and in an effort to not seem like a kid, you stand there for a bit listening to their conversation all the while not understanding any of the words? That's how I feel sometimes with these tech dudes speaking. Now, I am not anywhere near WSD levels of mutant because I have a working brain, but I am not on their level. Either way, it doesn't matter.

Take a journey with me. I got Doc Brown here, we are going to rev this thing up to 88, and I want to go back to the first time we all tried beer for the first time. For some it came at your first high school party in the woods (parties in the woods might be a millennial/northeast-specific thing but anyway we used to build massive bonfires and drink in the woods. It was awesome.) and for others it came when you were 6 years old and your dad asked you to bring him a beer after mowing the lawn and during the walk from the fridge to the porch, your curiosity got the best of you.

Whenever the moment occurred when that barley and hops hit your lips, it is distinct because beer is an acquired taste. I don't think anyone throws down some brew the first time and yells, "give me another right now!" I think it's more likely that we have a Can't Hardly Wait situation

This is seemingly what happened to Zuck in the above clip. He takes that sip and immediately regrets it. He puts the pint down and starts to calculate if he can get through the rest of the show without drinking any more of it if he pushes it out of frame.

Guinness is all the rage right now and while I think "splitting the G" has started to fade, it certainly had it's time in the spotlight. What I will say about it though is the taste of the stout doesn't match the appearance of it in the glass. The dark ruby red color (yep, it's not brown. Google it.) and the foam are inviting but when you take that first gulp, it's surprisingly unremarkable in my opinion. It's a fine beer and I imbibe from time to time, but it's not my preference. Shout to the white jackets, Miller Lite.

Here's where I am thoroughly perplexed though. It is not an overly weird tasting beer like some of the craft junk out there. It's straightforward. I thought Zuck, for as eccentric/weird/nerdy as he is, was also somewhat normal?

Throughout this movie, he drinks like a normal dude in multiple scenes. Granted, I know it was a movie based in reality but still, he is painted as a standard college kid albeit a genius who changed the world. He has shown other instances where I can't make heads or tails if he is normal or a robot.

But when we come back to the beer it's as though some PR person on his team told him, "Ok, just drink it and pretend you do it every weekend" but then his brain short circuited in real time as if to say, "How would a normal human react to that sip?"

However, the most relatable thing of all is that no matter how many billions of dollars you have, it doesn't matter. No one ever wants to seem uncool. There is no shot he puts it down and says, "oh, yea, I don't like that." No, he chokes it down because Jessica from his 3rd period Physics class is watching and he can't look like a dweeb. We are all prisoners to peer pressure. Even robots.

P.S. No free ads but the show is called Cheeky Pint and that's just an awesome name. The word "cheeky" isn't used nearly enough these days and we should bring it back.
