Lane Kiffin, Who Was Too Scared To Win The Game On His Own, Is Now Trying To Blame The Refs For Letting Kentucky Score Because 'There Was Too Much At Stake'

I can't believe this is real until I remembered it's Lane Kiffin. I mean these are real quotes:

[Source] - Coach Lane Kiffin said on Sunday that an official told him “there was just too much at stake” to blow the tush-push run play dead when Minchey was initially stopped short of the end zone.

“(The line judge) said he'd be killed if he would have blown the whistle for the play being stopped,” Kiffin said, “even though it appeared to be stopped.”

“Don’t not blow it because it was such a big play,” Kiffin said.

“The rules are the rules,” Kiffin said, “so if you see it that way, then see it that way. That's my complaint with it. It all comes down to just blowing the whistle, so it is what it is.”

Biggest fucking crybaby in the sport. This is the play he's bitching about:

Should have hit him harder. Should have also not been a pussy and go for it on 4th and 1 to end the game. Instead you let Will Stein and Kenny Minchey get the ball back. I just love the thought that Lane Kiffin at LSU thinks the refs needed to hand Kentucky a touchdown! If you're bitching about Kentucky getting a break in a football game you already lost. Your defensive coordinator also could have not played prevent defense with the 2-minute drive. Or know that Kenny will run it up your gut

Best part is we're not even talking about the end of the game touchdowns. This is the end of the first half on a play that no one knows where the ball was. Yeah, Lane, I'm sure the ref said that moment was too big. I'm sure a ref came over and admitted it to you too. Dude just lies to try and get people to not talk about them failing. Get big in the trenches, Lane. This is why I will die for Will Stein. The man goes for the win, makes Lane Kiffin bitch and moan and celebrates with the crowd. That's our guy.
