Nebraska Absolutely BLOWS IT and Loses to a 31st Consecutive Top 25 Opponent

I'm so sick of Nebraska, man. This team hasn't won a big game in my entire life but the college football media members old enough to remember the late 1900s keep promising me these guys are awesome and they could be back to winning national championships any minute now. It's a college football psyop.

The Cornhuskers had an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter, just to give up a 75-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage after going up two possessions and then allowing another big one on fourth down to give Indiana the lead for good. It was their 31st consecutive loss to a Top 25 team.

I do feel bad for the Nebraska fans because they still pack that stadium and my school has been in a similar spot for a number of years. But at some point, we have to just be honest with ourselves. Memorial Stadium can't be considered a tough place to play and that program is not going to be back competing with the big boys for a while.

For what it's worth, Indiana continued to not look remarkably impressive in 2026 and the Hoosiers have quite a test when Ohio State comes to Bloomington next week. They do keep finding ways to win, though.
