After Going Into White Sox Dave's House (Literally) And Taking 2 Wins, The Cleveland Crew Will Now Return The Favor And Host Him For Game 5

So I guess I'll try and summarize the last 48 hours into one blog. That's probably the best way for people to see it all together until they rewrite the history books next. But the way this one goes is that the Guardians went down 0-2 to the White Sox in a first to 3 series. All hope was lost for Cleveland. I'm pretty sure the White Sox were -1000000000 to advance to the ALCS. Everyone had counted the Guards down and out. Well, except for 4 men who would forever be etched in history as The Chicago 4.

The original plan was for me, my Dad, and two of my Uncles to go to Games 3 and 4. Well one thing led to another, and White Sox Dave offered to have my family + Nicky Smokes + a camera man over for breakfast (which turned into a shit ton of beers)

....which then led to shots

….which then led to us walking into the Belly of the Beast, a 99.999% White Sox crowd….AND TAKING GAME 1!

The mood of the Chicagoans both inside and outside the ballpark immediately shifted. It went from welcoming and fun loving to tight assholes and needing to win. And apparently the content was good enough from Game 3 that our good friends at TickPick wanted us to go back for Game 4…..with one condition: we added Mintzy.

White Sox HATED the move. I LOVED the move. Add Mintzy to the White Sox crew? Yes please! And then we ran it back the exact same crew, the exact same way for Game 4.

And the exact same thing happened…..

Which I guess brings us today. My flight to Texas has be cancelled, and now I will be picking White Sox Dave up at 7 am tomorrow to drive 6 hours to Cleveland together for Game 5 (courtesy of Tick Pick again).
