Mike Brown And Tom Coughlin Singing "Who Let The Dogs Out" Is Exactly What New York Needs To Hear Right Now

It's not much of a surprise to people that as a Mets fan, I absolutely cherish days like today when the Yankees are eliminated from the playoffs because I've had their fans rubbing my team's misfortune in my face since I was a kid. Which is why videos like this are always a hit across the internet because Yankees fans have long had a superiority complex over every other baseball fan despite most of their 27 RANGZZZZZZZZZ being won before JFK was elected president and Yankees fans in college don't have any recollection of their last title.

Now Yankees fans are stuck in a hellish purgatory where they are good enough to make the playoffs every year but bad enough to watch them get eliminated, usually in horrifically embarrassing fashion where they piss down their legs at the plate, in the field, and on the base paths before the GM and manager run it back for another season. Oh yeah, and the best Spanish speaking player of the team that just eliminated the Yanks does this now annually while the corpse is still warm.

Despite all that, I offer this glorious video of two champions singing the Baha Men's greatest symphony because New York has to row in the same direction now. We are all back to being Knicks fans together and a good chunk of us are rooting for the Giants to grind their way to the playoffs with a backup QB leading an admittedly flawed roster. We can worry about arguing over our overpaid baseball teams again in 2027, 2028, or whenever the greedy owners decide we are allowed to watch their stupid sport again. Until then, Jalen Brunson is ready to put the hopes and dreams of millions of people from the Tri-State Area on his back like the sick bastard he is.

P.S. I would pay anything to see what Tom Coughlin said the first time he heard "Who Let The Dogs Out"? There is no doubt he yelled at whoever was closest to the radio to turn that rubbish off and may have destroyed whatever speaker was playing it with a baseball bat. Now years later he is singing it with the champion head coach of the New York Knicks. Truly a beautiful thing to watch.
