Dashcam Video In Japan Shows A Bear Attacking A Car And The Craziest Thing Of All To Me Is The Driver Doesn't Fully Panic
UPI News - Police in Japan's Hokkaido prefecture shared dashboard camera captured by a driver whose car was attacked by a mother bear on a road.
Hokkaido Police said the vehicle was traveling in the town of Bifuka on Tuesday when the driver stopped for a large brown bear and its cub crossing the road.
Police said the bruin's attack left dents, scratch marks and a hole in the vehicle's hood.
Authorities urged drivers to use caution when passing through the area, which is located near a known brown bear habitat.
Nightmare fuel. I already don't like driving at night, for that matter I don't like driving at all. It's brutal. Traffic everywhere, the Apple Car Play seems to give me more headaches than it should. Speed cameras ... EVERYWHERE. Just a nightmare.
At night it's always been a little uneasy for me, the darkness, worried about your own vision, as well as other people's vision, and for all the money we spend in this country how is every highway not lit up at night, or at least the major ones. I know I-95 and I-80 are like really long, like really long, but we can't get a couple of light poles every few miles just to help us out?
Anyway, if you have ever driven at night especially on really dark roads in wooded areas you know an animal jumping out in front of you is legit hell. I once had a deer in the headlights literally coming home from a shift as a barback it was terrifying. Luckily avoided damages. I cannot imagine a fucking BEAR attacking your car in the pitch black. Nightmare. If that thing wanted it could have ripped you out, held you over their head with one hand while they rearranged the radio presets and built up their appetite. Literally smashing your front windshield is INSANE. But I will say this, the driver handles this way better than I would have. They don't seem to be screaming in fear or full blown panicking, which is the craziest thing of all to me. I'd be losing it. I guess drivers in Japan are just built different. Crazy.
