All Of Argentina Going Nuts To Honor Messi For His Last Match Ever Tonight Is A Good Reminder He's The Best Player We've Ever Seen

Truly an end of an era tonight. Messi, the face of soccer, a guy who still delivered at 39-years old, is done playing for Argentina. He's the reason they were even making a run at this past World Cup and I don't know if we'll ever see someone as beloved in Argentina than him. Manu Ginobili might be close because Manu fucking ruled. Guy was ahead of his time. You know what? Fuck it, here's some Manu highlights

But this is about Messi. This is about how the entire country is going nuts to celebrate him tonight

Ronaldo could learn a thing or two. It's perfect seeing how these two are once again over the last week. Ronaldo got benched for a game, Portugal won and he cried, bitched and quit the team. He left! His sister came out and said how Portugal doesn't deserve happiness and sounded like another whiny bitch that runs in the family. But Messi? He has the entire country coming out for him. He has the entire world wanting to watch him play Benin and see what he does.

It is going to be weird to not see him play for Argentina. He's one of those guys that has just been around our entire lives. Not to mention he felt invincible. He felt like he could play until he was 50. I do wish it was against a better team. I get it's the sendoff, you don't want anything ruined. But him going out against Benin doesn't feel right. Should at least be a South American team. Or play Portugal with Ronaldo quitting and really drive it home.

Either way, best there was. Best there is. Best there ever will be.
