The Falcons in Primetime Are the Biggest Wagon in the NFL

If the Atlanta Falcons played every game after nightfall, they may never lose again. Somehow, the franchise that hasn't made the playoffs in a decade is now 9-2 in primetime games since 2024 after a 45-24 thrashing over the Saints in New Orleans that was even more of a blowout than that score would indicate.

Have we considered this team could just be a wagon when it has an NFL quarterback playing? It's insane those first two games with "Cooper Rush" and "Jack Strand" under center count.

The schedule doesn't do Atlanta any favors, but this looks like a playoff team with Michael Penix back. Bijan and Brian Robinson run it down your throat. Drake London looks like a legitimate No. 1 receiver. The defense has been pretty great, especially considering it's missing its top two edge rushers and best corner.

That's two wins in a row by a combined 42 points and I got some BAD news for the Baltimore Ravens: you have to get on a plane and head to Atlanta for a matchup on a little program called Sunday Night Football next week. Primetime Penix and Bright Lights Bijan will be waiting.
