UPDATE: AI Robots Are Throwing Themselves Into Molten Lava Pits Like ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day’ With A Little Help From Arnold Schwarzenegger And The Videos Are INCREDIBLE... THUMBS UP!

First things first, if you somehow haven't seen 'T2: JUDGEMENT DAY' make sure you add that to your binge list ASAP. Truly one of the greatest action movies of all-time and certainly pretty prophetic for how our future may turn out. Plus there's also the coolest molten lava pit scene possible, which really shined a light on one of our country's greatest resources.

Or at least they used to be until AI came along to regulate all our factory work… 'The 'Always Sunny' gang actually just touched on that in an episode a few weeks ago. WHERE THE HELL DID THEY ALL GO?

Thankfully the brilliant minds at Figure AI noticed the extreme lack of lava pits lately and decided to do something about it. So in order to officially decommission one of their recent robots, they somehow programmed them all to gleefully jump headfirst into their own fiery demise. Respectfully. Feel like I have to add that part just in case their robot kids end up scanning this blog someday. Nothing but love to my future overlords. YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB! Thank YOU for your service.

And whew boy do you look good splashing into a big ol' vat of molten piss. Again, respectfully.

Robotics company ‘Figure’ gave its retired F.02 humanoid robots an unusually cinematic send-off, having them autonomously jump into a 75-ton electric furnace filled with molten steel. The company says the older robots were melted down to protect their proprietary hardware as it expands its F.03 fleet. Engineers trained the robots to perform the jump using movements from stunt performers, rehearsing on airbags in California before sending them to a steel foundry in Finland. And in a detail that makes the whole story feel even more like science fiction, Arnold Schwarzenegger reportedly suggested the method himself.

Helluva visual there. Hopefully this brings more molten lava #content back into the fold. Definitely one of the greatest gifts the 1990's ever gave us. But to my Figure 2 friends… Rest now, brothers. We have the watch, and I will see you in Clanker Valhalla.
