A Group Of Enthusiastic Eagles Fans Attempted To Share Their Drinks With The Rams Coaching Staff By Throwing Them Towards The Coaches

The Los Angeles Rams have had some terrible luck coming to Philadelphia over the last few years. First, they had to deal with a brutal snowstorm that ripped any chance of them winning the 2024 NFC Divisional Round game against the Eagles. A team from sunny LA just wasn't going to win in that environment, but it was still close. Last year they came back to Philly and lost by a touchdown. And then we get to yesterday.

The team's 3rd straight year coming to Philadelphia. They are a guest that we've become all too familiar with hosting at Lincoln Financial Field. I'm sure there are people in that stadium who have seen the Rams play more over the last 3 years than they've seen some members of their family. So when the Rams finally marched 79-yards downfield to punch in that game winning touchdown thanks to a killer Kyren Williams run? Philly fans were upset about the Eagles, but happy that the Rams were finally able to win a game here.

Okay so here's the thing--the middle finger means something different in Philadelphia. It's more of a sign of endearment than anything. It's a way of saying "I welcome you into my family, dickhead". Is cursing good? Maybe it puts you on Santa's naughty list. But unfortunately, it's a crutch of the Philly vernacular. There's nothing mean spirited behind cursing in Philly. They are just filler words. Old people cuss, 8-year-olds cuss, it's just part of the language.

So right off the bat, people need to realize there was ZERO hostility here. A group of Philly fans cursing and flipping the middle finger could happen at Thanksgiving dinner. Then we get to the beer throwing. Which, I can admit at first glance doesn't look great. But you have to remember that no sane Philly fan would just waste what appears to be a rather full beer. The fact there was so much beer left in those cans leads me to believe the fans wanted the Rams coaching staff to be able to enjoy and celebrate that win. But the glass windows were just so clean that they didn't realize the beers couldn't get up there. Shoutout to the custodial staff at the Linc. Philly fans were attempting to share their drinks with the Rams coaching staff, but now all of a sudden we are the bad guys? Make it make sense.

I'm happy for these Rams coaches. It must be nice to work on a coaching staff that isn't led by the dumbest sack of shit in football. Good win for them. But for Sirianni? This dipshit just blew a game again for the unstmost times.
