The Future Is Now - Cavan Sullivan Put On A Show And Made Some History As The US Embarrassed Mexico
We've heard the name Cavan Sullivan for some time now. He's going to be the face of US Soccer. He's going to be the future of US Soccer. But, more importantly, he's the present. He's 17-years old and making some history against Mexico last night. It was beautiful to see. It was something he literally dreamt of
Love a guy that will cry for the crest. I said it before, but it feels different with this group. It's different because it's not one guy. We always had the Pulisic type, but just one of them. Now we have Julian Hall at 18 scoring 3 times in 3 games
Malik Tillman is bordering on superstardom, ever since the World Cup he's been on fire for the US
I don't care if it's a friendly against Mexico. Winning 3-0 against your rival is something that should be celebrated. The fact that we have this mix of guys from the World Cup and new faces and scoring 4, 4 and 3 so far should be celebrated. The fact that we embarrassed Mexico and made them slapping us brings a tear to my eye
I can't believe I'm about to say this too, but Sebastian Berhalter is so good for us. He's not an elite player. He's not going to wow you. But he just connects the game. He's a perfect piece to have out there and can play with anyone. He's taken such a leap that he's a mainstay on the roster now.
But this is about the future. This is about Sullivan, Hall and Albert. Three guys all who have had moments in 3 matches so far. Let's watch Cavan Sullivan again
Yeah the future is now. Get me to the 2030 World Cup with this group.
