'Fucking Asshole' - The Biggest Battle On TNF Is Mike McCarthy vs Aaron Rodgers Trying To Get The Play Call In The Huddle

So last week Aaron Rodgers had the quote about taking accountability to tell the coaches what plays suck. Everyone going on about Aaron Rodgers being Aaron Rodgers when it was just a hilarious quote. I mean I'm no Aaron Rodgers fan, but having a line about accountability and then blaming everyone else is a 10 outta 10 move.

Fast forward to tonight and, yeah, things are going great

Perfect. If anything it's even more reason I'd watch an alternate broadcast where it's just mic's on the field and coaches. These guys obviously know each other and have history together and far from the first time Mike McCarthy has called Rodgers an asshole. But it's great football. It's great television. I want to hear this every week. Like I said, we pay for 4,000 subscriptions to watch games and there are alternate broadcasts all over the place. Just give me mic's where I can hear this sort of stuff.

If anything I need to hear more of Aaron Rodgers in these sort of moments. Nice little temper tantrum to get it started and then gets hit with the fucking asshole line in his ear. You don't want an angry Mike McCarthy with that big of a play calling sheet. Not on a Thursday night. It feels good to see Mike McCarthy on the sidelines again. The Steelers are one of the more boring teams in the NFL but McCarthy was a staple. Him, the giant sheet, arguing with Aaron Rodgers. This is the football we know.
