Jack Hughes Was Not Feeling The ESPN Reporter's Joke About Only Giving Him Plastic Cutlery This Season

Holy awkward! Listen, do I think Jack Hughes is kinda being a softy here? Yeah, but he's in the middle of his season opener and probably doesn't want to think about how he was out 8 weeks with the Fleming Curse after Frank The Tank showed up to his dinner and his hand almost got chopped off.

I don't know if I missed the update on that story but man was that a wild time. Jack Hughes did have a hell of a summer though, from being Captain America after scoring the golden goal to destroy Canada's hopes and dreams in the gold medal game, to hanging out in the Jersey Shore with Tate McRae:

Unfortunately, all reports are that they've been broken up for months now after Tate thought they were in two different places in life or something. Poor guy. If only he was a superstar hockey player with thousands of beautiful women at his doorstep because girls love a hockey star. I think he'll be just fine. In the meantime, that joke was completely fair play, and we've gotta get him laughing stuff like that off and being careful next time.
