Offseason Move Of The Year: Keyt Alves, A 2-Time Champ In Brazil, Is Coming To America To Play For Nebraska In League One Volleyball

I'd like to apologize for not getting to this sooner. As you know, no one and I mean no one here is more locked into offseason moves and niche sports like I am. So I can't believe I missed the offseason signing of the year. Keyt Alves joining Nebraska in League One Volleyball. You may remember the name Keyt Alves from previous blogs:

And now I'm not even joking. This is the biggest offseason signing in sports. Do you know how hard you probably have to convince someone to move to Nebraska from Brazil? This isn't a Cornhusker born and raised. This isn't someone still screaming about Tommy Frazier and the glory days of the 80s and early 90s. She's not out here talking to people about Eric Crouch. No, she's doing this for the love of the game.

Consider me a fan now. I know my volleyball since Kentucky is a national title contender. I didn't know we had League One Volleyball. I did know that Nebraska fucking loves volleyball so it makes sense. So let's all congratulate Keyt on her move to Nebraska. Time to bring a title home to Omaha.
