The Mexican National Guard Has Enlisted a Chihuahua Named 'Comando' and He's Fucking Adorable

God I love dogs. There's a not-so-distant world where I let myself go full crazy dog lover on the timeline. I swear if I see one more thing about the AI dancing thumb guy, or Logan Paul cutting a wrestling promo at the White House, I'm blocking everybody and changing my Twitter to a Doggos & Puppers account.

Fine, I'm exaggerating. Even though I know for a fact that everyobody (especially me) would be better off for it. But I'm sure I'll see both of those things by the time I'm done with this paragraph and do nothing about it. Still... I'm not afraid to admit I'm a sucker for a Comando The National Guard Chihuahua. Look at this bad ass.

Good boy. A damn good boy. Why can't cute ass dogs be the standard mindless bullshit Twitter's algorithm feeds me instead of whatever total and utter nonsense this is?

Wow, the AI thumb guy has 60K followers on Instagram?! Sick. 30K of them aren't real either,  another 20K are hate following, and the remaining accidentally hit follow because Instagram caught them lacking on whatever drug makes a person do this.

If you're not going to show me something worthwhile, just rot my brain with dog videos all day. Dog videos and the chubby red-haired flag enthusiast.

At least those things don't make me want to drink bleach. Not yet. But once flag guy starts doing muck bangs between correct answers, all bets are off.

Anyways… Comando the Mexican National Guard dog… I was a little concerned for his well-being when saw the headline. Most dogs used in the military aren't Chihuahuas. I was afraid of what dangerous, tiny-space bomb sniffing operation Mexico might be training him for. I was even more afraid he might end up on one of those festive acrobat-laden Mexico Naval ships that still exist for god knows what reason.

But thankfully, for Comando's sake, he's a glorified mascot. A way for the National Guard to bond with the community. Just in case they ever do anything really fucked up, they can post another video of Comando at the dog park and everyone will say "Aww, I guess they're not that bad."

Yep, that'd work on me. Anyone with an adorable Chihuahua in tactical gear is good in my book. Thanks, Mexico.
