The Viral "Thin Is In" Pizza Girl Revealed Her Instagram Profile AND Her Restaurant Has Politely Asked Dave Portnoy To Come Review Their Pie Now That They Have 600,000 IG Followers Themselves
Big shout out to Ian & Kye's in Florida for cracking the code on Internet success. Over the past year they’ve racked up pageviews like NO other pizza place on social media and are now sitting firmly at 600,000 followers on IG. Along with 1.5 million total across all their platforms.
Insane numbers to see from a random Mom & Pop shop in the middle of nowhere. And it’s even crazier that all it took to create these endless clicks was coming up with a viral catchphrase? Impressive. Most impressive. Hit it Pizza Girl!!
She really does nail that delivery every single time. What an amazing auteur. A true maestro in complete control of her craft. Incredible assets no matter how you slice it. And most importantly, always handling that scalding hot pie with elite precision too. Can’t be easy balancing those thin ass pizzas on an oiled up board with a camera guy in your eyeball.
So BRAVO to you Pizza Girl… AKA Aleaa?
Turns out she just revealed her personal IG this week after many months of remaining in the Internet shadows with no name known publicly. Savvy move by her to hop on the viral train. Definitely deserves a piece of that catchphrase pie too. Already up to 125,000 followers herself just within a few days. Pizza really does bring people together!
And funny enough I was gonna blog about this spot back in June when they hit 500K but it somehow got lost in the summer sauce. In their caption for that video (and many others) they kept politely sending a plea to @stoolpresidente to come review their slice. Seems like he’d really enjoy that Chicago style thin crisp. Of course I have NO idea if he’s ever been in touch with them though. Hopefully this blog can help merge their powers together. I’d tell them to DM Dave’s secretary to schedule a trip but he’s likely too busy chatting with his stylist & fucking his subordinates to fit in any arduous labor like that. Being compromised sounds AWESOME.
Although at this point, not sure they even need a One Bite review from Barstool SPORTS anymore. Ian & Kye’s has already grinded their butts off and made it to the viral mountaintop all on their own. Admirably so. So cheers to small businesses picking themselves up by the chap straps and making their dreams a reality with a little hard work.
