NINE TIME - The Giants Traded For JJ McCarthy And It's Time To Believe In Everything Again

Oh my God, it happened! I thought there was a chance but the most likely outcome would be Justin Fields. Nope, it's Nine. It's former first-round pick JJ McCarthy. It's time to believe in everything again! Why? Because Sam Darnold, Geno Smith, Baker Mayfield. There's history of guys needing a new franchise. What better than coming to a Harbaugh and the Giants? We're desperate for quarterback play. Jameis, while hilarious, has been awful. 

Plus it only cost us a 5th rounder? FLEECED. That's how you rebuild this franchise. You take a shot on a guy like Nine and make him get a new number. Isaiah Likely isn't going to give up 9 and now people can't make fun of McCarthy for the Nine stuff. This is perfect. I think the only person happier than myself, Giants fans and JJ McCarthy is Grier

Feels good to have the data guy on our side. Look, I know all the jokes out there. None of that matters. I've seen Drew Lock, Tommy DeVito, Jameis and Geno Smith play for the Giants. I'm used to memes and jokes. You can't hurt me with those memes. Not when JJ McCarthy gets that first pump up speech from Jameis and wins us a game. 

We have hope again. This is the beauty of bringing in a new quarterback. I can talk myself into being 5-1 with the Cardinals, Commanders and Saints coming up. I can talk myself into JJ being a new guy and understanding to feed the ball to Malik Nabers. Plus, he can be a guy in the room with Dart when he comes back. Oh and there was all the talk of the Giants taking him in the Draft a couple years ago. Instead we now have Malik Nabers and JJ McCarthy and Jaxson Dart.
