'It's Tough. But It's Sports' - Sean McVay Did Everything Possible Not To Call Out The Refs For That Dogshit Pass Interference Call

I get it. It's football. There are bad calls all over the place, but how does this keep happening? By that I mean, how do we keep rewarding flops? It doesn't matter the sport, it's time to stop rewarding flops. I'm sick of it. It's wide receivers, it's SGA, it's everyone and it's time to get rid of the flop. 

Now, the Rams still could have won this game. Don't throw a pick-6, don't settle for field goals in the first half, all that stuff. McVay basically did everything possible not to call out the refs

And he's catching heat for ducking out early

I get it. The journalists are going to be pissed off, complain about it and how their job is to get quotes and then the cycle repeats itself. I don't really care. I care more about the flopping epidemic in sports. I honestly wish McVay didn't bite his tongue. If you're going to leave right away from the press conference at least drop a quote about how it was a dogshit call. 

For football in general, we need to fix pass interference. Every underthrown ball is pass interference. Every little touch is a receiver flopping around screaming for a flag. Let the boys play from time to time. We don't need to reward the offense even more than the rules already help them with. I don't even know the real fix. They tried to let you challenge pass interference and that was a disaster. You think a ref is going to say they fucked up a call? No. 

The Rams should have won this game because of that play, but I also don't feel bad for the Rams. They lost the game themselves. My problem is how many times it feels like a game comes down to a shitty DPI call.
