Nothing But Class: Scottie Scheffler Scolded Fans For Yelling In Nico Echavarria’s Swing, Conceded A 30-Foot Putt (And Still Won The Match)

Look at Scottie, man. That's how you handle this. You yell at the fans not to scream in the backswing and then concede a putt. You do that when you're the best in the world and still dominate the match. It was much needed from Scottie too. He was benched in the afternoon yesterday (and is still testy about it) 

Either way, this is what we should be doing today. We dominate singles. We saw it at Bethpage where we started to make the comeback. Now, as I blog this, we're down 12.5-11.5 and have the lead in 4 matches. It's nut check time and we need the boys in pink to come through. Sidenote, why the hell are we wearing pink? We should be wearing American flag red. 

I do love this from Scottie. It's been a weird year where people bitch about golf fans. Bethpage was a screaming match. People are getting pissed. Now, you don't need to yell in Nico's backswing. He was never going to win. This was Scottie's day. Let Scottie beat him straight up and I love that this didn't become a bigger controversy. We don't need an asterisk for Scottie. We just need to find a way to get the Cup.
