UFC Cops vs Robbers - A Miami Deputy Sheriff Just Choked Out A Fighter Who Has Been Arrested 15 Times

The UFC put on a truly unreal matchup on a few days notice this week.

Mickey Gall vs Sedriques Dumas was a fight originally scheduled to be on tonight's UFC Fight Night card, but Gall's medical check made him ineligible to compete, meaning Dumas needed an opponent on short notice....

Sedriques Dumas, if you're not aware, is a UFC Middleweight from Florida who holds the record for most mugshots in company history....

I believe he has been arrested 15 times since 2014, for everything from home invasion to battery to possession of a weapon by a convicted felon to drug possession to robbery to domestic battery and more. He's also 3-6-1 in the UFC (and 0-4-1 in his last five) but somehow keeps getting booked to fight.

So what did the UFC do when he needed an opponent on 48 hours notice? They called up Luis Hernandez, a Miami Deputy Sheriff who just earned himself a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series last week! 

It was a real life cops vs robbers booking! They matched up a Florida Man with a Florida Deputy! And the Florida Deputy made real easy work of the Florida Man!

Per usual, his celebration was completely ridiculous….

Actually, remember when Sean Strickland attacked a random fighter for his over-the-top celebration? That was Hernandez!
