The Swamp Is Dangerous Again: Week 4 CFB Recap
- Florida Is All the Way Back
What Jon Sumrall and Buster Faulkner are doing at Florida in Year 1 is scary. The Gators have scored 66, 52, 44 and 52 points in their four games and already have wins at Auburn and over No. 4 Ole Miss. Aaron Philo was sitting behind Haynes King at Georgia Tech last year and now he looks like one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC.
Faulkner will leave sooner than later for a head coaching gig, but it looks like Sumrall may have something special brewing in Gainesville. This team is going to the College Football Playoff.
- Texas and Tennessee Should Both Be Embarrassed
Man, this game sucked.
Tennessee was completely inept offensively, Faizon Brandon looked lost and the Volunteers did not score an offensive touchdown for the first 58 minutes of the game — and they had the ball in Texas territory with a chance to tie or win on the last possession.
Arch Manning didn't look much better than Brandon and he's in his fourth season of college football. Colin Simmons was unbelievable on the defensive side, but the Longhorns' offense did not look like the unit of a national championship contender.
These are the games Josh Heupel simply has to be able to win. The No. 1 team in the country played like hot garbage offensively in your building and you couldn't find 21 points. Heupel is now 0-7 in his last seven games against ranked opponents and 1-4 in the Vols' last five SEC games in Neyland Stadium. Gotta get it fixed.
- Dylan Raiola Leads Oregon to a Top 15 Road Win
That's right, folks. With their season on the line, the Oregon Ducks turned their eyes to Dylan Raiola, who came in after Dante Moore took a scary hit and led his team to a huge win over USC in Los Angeles.
Obviously, everyone hopes Moore will be ok. But if he is out for an extended period of time, Raiola seems to have proven he has taken a step forward since his time at Nebraska and could be shoulder the load for an Oregon team needing a spark. The Ducks have a much-needed bye week before they face UCLA in a suddenly massive game.
- Super Kamario Does It Again
If Kamario Taylor plays next season at Mississippi State, he's going to have at minimum a statue of himself in front of Davis Wade Stadium one day and he very well may deliver the Bulldogs a Heisman Trophy. This kid is unbelievably special.
The most must-watch game in college football next week will be at noon when Keelon Russell and Alabama head to Starkville. It will be absolute scenes.

Just another casual 217-yard, 4 TD performance from Jeremiah Smith. He now has more than 600 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns a third of the way into the season. Smith is the most surefire NFL prospect since _?
