Look I'm no expert on the affairs of Fred Astaire but looks like the casting director fuckin' crushed it here. So far The Internet appears to agree as well. Sabrina & Tom will most definitely be dancing their old timey asses off, that's for damn certain. Hit it Johnny!

Still can't believe Spider-Man dominated a Rihanna song that hard. Probably the exact moment Zendaya fell head over heels for him. Clearly he won't be holding back on the 1930's dance floor.

No shade if you're unfamiliar though. I'm uncultured swine as well. Always been more of a Chaplin & Keaton guy when it comes to B&W legends from The Great Depression. But here's a few highlights from what I learned about Fred in the past 5 minutes.

-Fred blended tap, ballroom, and ballet with unmatched grace, rhythm, and athleticism.

-His series of 1930s movie musicals with Ginger Rogers—such as Top Hat and Swing Time—made them the most famous romantic dance duo in cinema history.

-Insisted that dance numbers be filmed with stationary cameras, wide angles, and minimal cuts so audiences could see the full body and steps of the dancers.

-Made sure dance routines advanced the story line rather than just acting as standalone variety acts.

-Career spanned over 75 years across vaudeville, Broadway, Hollywood films, and television specials, earning him an honorary Academy Award and multiple Emmy Awards

Sounds like one helluva #content creator. He would've absolutely dominated this TikTok Wiggledick era/hellscape we're currently trapped in. Oh well.

But most importantly, and the only reason I wrote this blog, we're getting Sabrina & Margaret reunited onscreen for the 1st time since their 'House Tour' music video. That is IMPORTANT news. Here's a refresher on their dancing magic from a few months ago. Not a stretch to say it's right up there on that elite Astaire level of unmatched grace.

Always inspiring to see 2 actors with genuine chemistry just attacking their craft with nothing held back. Great work girls. CAN'T WAIT to watch them dance their asses off again for this biopic now.

And although I have no idea what this plot entails, we can only hope there's some sordid romantic history between Ginger & Adele not yet known by the world. Can you imagine? 2 chicks… 2 chicks man. Awesome. Have a great weekend.
