'We Signed Mike To $25 Million, Nobody's Complaining About Him Having 2 Catches' - Jacoby Brissett Had The Worst Possible Response To Everyone Calling Out Marvin Harrison Jr.

Woof, dude. I mean, look, it's fair to say Marvin Harrison Jr. has been awful this year. 

You can't be defending him by saying Michael Wilson only has 2 catches and he just got $25 million! That's not how it works. Not to mention the target share is completely different. Wilson has 14, Harrison has 4. Plus, you're the quarterback! You're the guy getting them the ball and figuring out who to throw it too. Brissett has been awful so far this year too. I know we're talking about the Cardinals, I've long said they are the most irrelevant franchise in the NFL right now, but they can't look this bad. Even the fact they are 1-1, no one actually cares about the Cardinals. 

I don't know how Brissett thought this was a real answer. It's not overblown. Marvin Harrison Jr. was a top-4 pick. He was the first wide receiver off the board. He's supposed to be a wide receiver 1 and he's just not. Whether it's scheme, bad passing or just him being bad, it ain't working. I'm sure he'll try to force the ball to him more now and it'll be gotcha culture when they say look, Marvin got 10 targets. There's a reason everyone is talking about the Harrison dilemma. It's real. People are talking about him being on the trade block. You spent money on Michael Wilson for a reason too. 

Either way, this is one of the worst answers you could give. Just like, hey, this guy is making a ton of money and no one is talking about him! Either way, I'd probably just try to run an offense in the second half.
