Team Chemistry Has Never Been Higher: Sam Burns Rocked A Scottie Scheffler Mugshot T-Shirt In The Presidents Cup Team Room This Week

Don't get me wrong, Scottie talking about the fact he was charged with a felony and not just arrested is hilarious. This is one of the best golfers of all-time and look at him laugh about this. Joking around that taking a bus is good for him, he's perfect. But, what I took away is him casually mentioning Sam Burns rocking the mugshot t-shirt to the Presidents Cup team room. That's team chemistry. These are two guys are who best friends and Sam Burns is making sure Scottie is still able to get made fun of.

I love that. It's a different week. It's one of the rare times we get dream teams and team play. I can't wait to see Cam Young and Chris Gotterup together. I need that. It's all about keeping guys loose and making sure shots are where your teammate can take advantage. It's also part of the whole mental aspect of the game. You gotta find a way to stay loose. You gotta stay in the fight in match play. So if that means Sam Burns shows up with this on a t-shirt? So be it.

I know people think it's been beaten to death or overblown, but I disagree. I don't think we realized how batshit crazy it was that the No. 1 golfer in the world was arrested and charged with a felony while going to play in a major. Not only that but that a cop had pants ruined beyond repair. Then he comes back, plays well that day after getting out of jail. The whole thing will always be nuts to me and I love that Sam Burns is keeping it loose. They will be paired together this week and they will win because of this. Or because Scottie is the best in the world. Either one really.
