Commanders Special Teamer Tyler Owens Had One Of The Greatest Plays You'll Ever See, No Exaggeration

I told you, no exaggeration. That is one of the greatest plays a football player can have. Starting with breaking the double team and the corresponding double stiff-arm

Directly followed up by putting his guy through the Earth

Directly followed by a spine buster that would make Batista tip his cap

It was a tour de force of a special teams play. The fact he did all that and got the tackle…well not just "the tackle", but a bone shattering tackle, is fucking awesome.

As for the rest of the game…I donno man. It was ugly. Some good, some bad, but a lot of ugly. The defense showed up, besides Mikey, who looked clueless out there.

Sonny Styles looked incredible in his debut though.

Jayden was so shaky in the first half, to say the least. Did not look poised whatsoever, going 6/16 for 43 yards in the first half of football. He settled down in the 2nd half though, especially the 4th quarter where he went 9/11 for 99 yards and 2 TDs. So not all hope is lost or anything, it's just frustrating to see the team come out so flat.

I'll say this though- Dan Quinn is already on my hot seat. We can pull the “it’s only week 1” card but it’s still abundantly clear Dan Quinn is not a top tier NFL head coach. He still doesn’t get how to manage the clock or how to use timeouts. The guys looked unprepared the entire first half. It’s so frustrating to still see this stuff. He's been in the league way too long for this shit to happen, I'm tired of excuses.

A win in Dallas next week is vital. A loss and we might as well start watching soccer or something.
