Leader: John Harbaugh Tackled Malik Nabers Before The Game So He Wouldn't Be Scared Of Getting Hit In His First Game Back From Injury

I could spend all day metaphorically sucking John Harbaugh's dick after watching the Giants win last night. That was a beautiful, beautiful thing to watch. Just dominate the line of scrimmage, run the ball down your throat, let Dart do his thing when he has to. It was perfect from start to finish. But what I didn't know is what he did before the game.

Laying out Malik Nabers to set a tone. That's leadership. You can't be surprised that a guy, especially a wide receiver, is uneasy about returning from a brutal injury. Can't tell me it didn't work. Malik Nabers came back, looked like WR1 again and we might be dangerous with him and Likely out there. All because John Harbaugh knew he had to tackle his wide receiver. That's a guy I want leading my team. That's a guy we can win with.

Didn't go down though. I don't know if I believe Nabers here, but I love it. I need my WR1 to act like a true WR1. You're always open, you're always going to score a touchdown and it's an insult to God if anyone thinks they can do something better than you. Then you come in and do some dirty work, open the game up so Devin Singletary can score thanks to 10 straight passes to the flat.

Everything about this franchise feels different. That's the Harbaugh impact. That's the reason you pay a guy like that all the money. Don't care if it's just one win. It's one win because it's a new era. Gotta lay out Malik Nabers in warmups every single game now.
