'That's Why I Tried To Embarrass Them At The End' - Eli Drinkwitz Thought The Kansas Hype Video Was Bullshit, Wanted To Prove A Point Because Of It

We all saw the video:

The Border War is just that. It's a War. It's built on hate, history and everything else. Now, would I go with the John Brown type hype video cameo? Probably not, but this is what rivalries are all about. It's about hating everything about the other program. Except, you can't get your ass kicked after dropping said hype video:

And you gotta deal with a pissed off Eli Drinkwitz

I think Drinkwitz is a dork, but it's fair play all around. You have every right to defend your program, but maybe don't take it as deep as he is here. I don't want unity in sports. I want hate in sports. I want rivalries to be built on hate. I get it though. Mizzou should have been pissed. They should have taken it personally, which it sounds like they did.

Perfectly played on all sides if we're being honest. I'm not going to tell people not to put out hype videos that relate to the Civil War. I also won't tell said people to get pissed off that they are part of the hype video that way. Again, rivalries shouldn't be laughs and giggles. It should be hate. It should be embarrassing each other. No taking a knee or field goal on 4th down. Go score a touchdown and prove a point.
