Yandy Diaz Celebrated The Rays Postseason Berth By Walking Around The Clubhouse Eating A Massive Tomahawk Steak With His Bare Hands

Now THIS is how you celebrate your team making a playoff berth, chowing down on a big ass piece of meat. Yandy Diaz and the Rays clinched a spot in the playoffs last night and his first move wasnt to double fist some beers, not a bottle of champagne to the face, not a keg stand in the corner, he wanted a tomahawk steak and he got it. Perfectly good way to celebrate a massive achievement for your team, but I have so many questions about Yandy and his steak. He had to have someone preparing the steak during the game, like was he going to get a tomahawk regardless of if they won or lost, he was having his meat. If they lost I assume he'd just pack it up and eat it at home, right? But since they won he got to parade around the clubhouse with it while the rest of the guys smoked cigars. I do love how he's walking around with this thing like it's a turkey leg at King Richard's Faire. 

One way to beat your drunk hunger is to get ahead of it and that's what Yandy is doing, great preparation here. I'd assume most of these guys celebrate, get drunk and then are like "shit, I'm hungry as hell", Yandy got out ahead of that. He's building a nice base of steak to combat the booze he's about to guzzle. No utensils or anything either, just eating it right off the bone in what is essentially a nightclub setting around him. This is the only sport where you'd see something like this, you're not getting a QB munching on a New York Strip post playoff berth in the NFL, no-one in the NBA is housing a filet as they head into the playoffs, but for some reason this isn't that strange for a baseball clubhouse. 

I'm also going to be honest, that steak doesn't look like it's cooked that well at all. I need it thrown back on the grill for a few more minutes, I'm not sayin "well done", but you need to give that baby some more heat. Some of the meat hanging off doesn't look great, but that's just me. But this is a 10/10 way to celebrate making the playoffs and if you rake like Yandy rakes you can celebrate like a king. I hope that he ups the ante every time they advance. Each celebration gets bigger and bigger, maybe if they win the World Series they'll be roasting a full pig in the clubhouse, have to go bigger and better every time.
