UPDATE: AJ Brown Injured His Ankle On The 1st Drive After Halftime And Had To Leave The Game For X-Rays, Just Like Seahawks QB1 Sam Darnold

Patriots fans, look away. So far the news is NOT sounding good about this AJ Brown ankle injury. Certainly still the possibility he escaped with just a low sprain but that knee directly to the high ankle area looked pretty nasty. And as was the case with Sam Darnold (5) plays into the NFL season, our resident Twitter doctors believed this one to likely be severe right off the bat. Once again, you hate to see it. Especially on Opening Night.

Hopefully it's not IR-worthy and he'll be back catching slants soon. Although admittedly him and Drake did look a little rusty together. Would've been absolute SCENES if they had hit that flea flicker. At least the memes were strong though. Midseason form from the trolls. Touché.

Also this might be controversial but I think the Aaron Rodgers entrance meme still hits. I still chuckle every time it's correctly used to signify that something incredible became something horrible within a span of 30 seconds. That's nothing personal against A-Aron or anything. I don't wish ill upon any of these players. 

Sometimes these memes just work. Keep in mind I'm saying this with all due respect. This is what Big J Journalism looks like in the year of our Lord, 2026.
