John Harbaugh Does Not Have Any Time For Reporters Stupid Fucking Questions About Which Giants Players Are Playing, Starting, Or Any Other Info That His Opponents May Want
Get their asses, coach!
Look, I get that reporters have to ask their questions just like I get that coaches have to do everything in their power to answer those questions by serving up big fat nothing burgers so they don't give anything away to their opponents. There are many ways to cook up said nothing burgers. They can grunt through it like BB, Former HC of the NEP. They can give long winded replies that say nothing like Brian Daboll did once upon a time here. John Harbaugh decided to just come out and say the silent part out loud, which is very refreshing to a fan that wants to cut through the bullshit as we wait for the goddamn season to start. As much as I'd like to know every single thing happening with my team behind the scenes, I'd rather the Cowboys know as little as possible since it's already going to be hard enough to win a game against that offense with the DBs the Giants are suiting for the game.
I also get that Ravens fans were sick of dealing with this bullshit from Harbaugh for years, which usually bubbled up when his teams struggled a bit. Asking for just the littlest bit of clarity about an injured player or the reasoning why some dogshit offensive lineman is still starting doesn't seem like a lot to ask. However, as a Knicks fan that was fine with Leon Rose's open door media policy that harkens back to Joseph Stalin's USSR from the day he took over, I'm fine with Harbaugh doing whatever has to be done that could help the Giants win. If that means I have no fucking clue if Malik Nabers is suiting up until after the pregame shows wrap up at 1 PM on Sunday, so be it.
Now if you wanna go Silent Mode like King Leon, you better deliver W's like him. But I have absolutely no problem with doing everything possible to keep everyone in the dark if you are bringing the W's home at night. Letting the notoriously tough New York media know that's how it's gonna be from the jump is actually the best thing Harbaugh can do for everyone involved. Now all he has to do is turnaround a ship that has been way off course for more than a decade since the last great leader of the franchise was fired """retired""".
