It's that time of the year when people are getting back to a routine. Could be going back to school, getting your family ready back to school, whatever it might. For Diletta Leotta it's returning to TV. Basically the same thing. And, look, I know about Giusy Meloni, Eleonora Icandora, Ainhoa Perez and Eva Murati. But the first one we blogged about calling a superstar was Diletta Leotta. Sometimes you gotta get back to the OG roots.

It's tough this time of the year. One day you're at the beach:

Next thing you know you're putting on slacks and a jacket and getting ready to work. Also a good reminder that being a pro soccer player is a 1.1 job in the world. Her husband Loris Karius, infamous from the 2018 Champions League final with Liverpool, is still playing Schalke 04. Just a soccer family.

So it's only right if she's back on TV right as we get ready for real football over here, it's time to pay some respect. That's what we do here. We do data, we do respect. Shout out Diletta Leotta, the original Italian TV reporter that took over this blog. Set the tone a few years ago and hasn't stopped.
