You have an elite recruiting base. You have the history. I don't know if it's just the era I grew up in where these 3 schools were always good, but that's not the case. Florida State stinks. I don't care what they do the rest of the season, they aren't good. It's also hit a breaking point for their fans and Mike Norvell. They are sick of losing. They want anything and anyone different than him. He's been there long enough, had the two decent years, but it's Florida State. You can't have 2 wins, 5 wins and then lose the first big game at home when you don't have lights. 

And look at that video up top. That's not a small amount of people chanting. That's everyone at Doak Campbell. That's not a quiet chant. That's what everyone in the fanbase is hoping for. There's a 99.9% chance you've been there with one of your teams. You know it's time to move on. You don't care about money, you just want some form of hope for the future. 

It sucks when you're in this spot too. It sucks knowing week 1 (beating New Mexico State doesn't count) and you're likely going to be in hell for all of football. Part of you wants to suck so the school is forced to move on from Norvell. Brutal night. You don't want to be screaming to fire a coach at 1 in the morning after another dumb loss.
