Hell Yes - Jameis Winston Just Signed A 2-Year Contract Extension So He Can Be A Giants Legend For The Rest Of His Career

It's a Labor Day Weekend miracle! And yeah I said legend. Legend means different things to different people but the man who is beloved in the clubhouse, helping mentor Jaxson Dart and all-around perfect backup quarterback is a legend to us. Name another backup quarterback who can be more entertaining than 75% of starters out there in the league? I'll wait. The answer is one man

I said this over a year ago and it makes even more sense now. I honestly think the Giants need to make Jameis a permanent backup quarterback. He's ideal for it right now. He knows his role, he executes it perfectly, plus he's got fans anywhere and everywhere you look.

Uh, ya think, Reags? Good call on that one. The real thing is Jameis knows what the Giants can be. He knows it's an honor and privilege to put on that Giants blue

You can't teach heart, pump up speeches and being the perfect backup quarterback. That's what Jameis has and good on him getting a 2-year deal. Let's just make it a lifetime contract. Let's make him a Giant for life, something he should have been. Forget the Bucs years or anything like that. Jameis was made in a lab to be in New York and playing QB2, sometimes 1, for the Giants.

Next step? 10 more years on that contract

Shout out Jameis. Vibes can't get better heading into week 1. Cowboys gotta be terrified now.
