Our Program Savior: Kentucky Coach Will Stein Isn't Even Going To Think About Prepping To Play Against Alabama Until Has A Cold Beer
You know what? Hell yeah. I love Will Stein. I would fight anyone for Will Stein. In one game he completely changed how fans watch this team. There's hope. There's an offense that can only be described as fun as shit. There's a quarterback in Kenny Minchey who is throwing it all around. There's talent and again, there's hope.
Now we'll find out fast how much hope we should have considering we have Alabama this coming week. No weeks off for Kentucky. You go from a top-10 team* (FCS, but still top-10) into Alabama. I love it. Challenge the boys, let's see what Will Stein can come up with. But the fact is he's going to be a great coach. He already is.
Plus, he knows what's important. You don't just plan to beat Alabama without a beer. You need to calm down, celebrate your first win, clear the mind and then see what you come up with after a few beers. It's the only way I'd coach and I've seen Kentucky get some major wins. I saw us beat No. 1 LSU, so no, I'm not scared of Alabama in week 2. Not when I saw Kenny Minchey throw for 301 yards and not even come close to getting sacked. Not when CJ Baxter ran for two touchdowns. Not when my head coach wants a beer and fucking. That's the guy who is going to save this program.
